so I decided to complete my Masters here. Other business schools teach you theory, the CSIM teaches you to apply that theory. I've truly learned to work with international groups of people. I've been involved in devoloping a U.S. brand strategy for 1-800-SanDiego and learned how business strategies need to integrate global perspectives."
CSIM's Mission is

- Responsive to environmental changes providing the understanding and skills to evaluate and appropriately respond to an organization's changing economic, social, political, cultural and technological contexts.

CSIM's teaching philosophy and methods
- Cultural perspectives are important in the presentation of material, both from faculty and students
- Student participation in class discussion, leadership in team projects, and presentations are encouraged.
- Material is presented in classical frameworks as well as in contemporary practically-oriented ones.
- Case studies are encouraged as a focus of application as well as a practical way of viewing academic in real and dynamic settings.
- Teaching includes meeting company leaders, executives, founders and entrepreneurs through company visitation, guest presentations and other forums.
- Students' individual research and intellectual interests can be reinforced through student-faculty teaching relationships in the classroom setting, traditional coursework, independent study, and networking in the outside business community.
CSIM's students
- The majority are non-U.S. Citizens.
- They have had work experience (including international experience).
