"The School is committed to providing an outstanding learning environment both in and out of the classroom with a globally and real world experienced faculty in a mutually supportive student-faculty community."
Dr. Michael McManus, President CSIM
A business school should not resemble nor become a public policy institute. It is not the province of a business school to become an instrument of a global, geo-political movement or too closely affiliated with transitory or thematic causes, however good and worthwhile they may sound ("sustainable economic development", "environmental preservation", or "climate change"). Some business schools have so embraced these causes that their names and missions have been absorbed in them.
CSIM stands for the notion that business schools should always be unfettered by political themes and causes, and should rather be places where the vigor of independent thought, contrarian views and individual intellect flourish.
We are very pleased and proud to announce that The California School of International Management is a senior college accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees.
ACICS, located in Washington, D.C., is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
.
The CSIM staff, faculty and students worked long and hard and a fantastic job was the result. We thank all those who had the enduring faith that we would one day be able to share this good news.
CSIM is one of a very, very few free-standing international business schools, now accredited at the bachelor's, master's and doctorate levels, and we are proudly located in the great Golden State of California, the seventh largest economy in the world!
We look forward to the prospect of working with international business entrepreneurs and leaders of the future!
